Round hole perforation is the most widely used pattern in industrial and construction applications. The circular punch produces a clean, uniform hole that maximizes open area for a given pitch, making it ideal
for screening, filtration, ventilation, and drainage applications.
Square and rectangular slot perforation offers different open-area geometry and flow characteristics compared to round holes. Square holes in a straight pitch arrangement maximize open area while maintaining material strength and rigidity, and are commonly used in architectural screening and heavy-duty filtration.
Beyond standard geometric patterns, Regan’s tooling section can produce custom and decorative perforation for architectural cladding, interior design panels, signage backing, and feature screens. Custom patterns are typically produced from a customer-supplied drawing or template.
